Pure Luege
Pure Luege together with Fit & Limo is the oldest band of this whole canon of bands. Founded in the golden hey-days of the legendary 80ies-cassette-underground in 1982 Pure Luege always claimed to play every kind of style – taking it, changing it and finally making it to the original Pure Luege style. From the very beginning Pure Luege saw themselves as an across the border collective which could absorb nonmusical arts at every time. After seven years of silence and exactly 20 years after the release of their very first tape “Pure Luege Live In Bruessel” (1983) their new work “Law & Order” immediately beamed them into the 21. century. In their refuge Studio Fuerstenschlag Pure Luege recorded thirteen titles changing between kitchen-electronic, Krautrock-memories and Agitprop-Pop – controversial, anarchic and beautiful!
